New York here I come!

Working for Tafe certainly provides great opportunities!

I’m only 1 week away from embarking on a journey of a life time… To study and observe best practices in teaching in NewYork.

I will be leaving for The ‘Big Apple’ on the 26th of April for 5 weeks, on a ‘Premier’s Teacher Scholarship’.

Whilst there (besides trying to nab myself a bargain in the fashion district!), I will be, amongst other things:

- attending a few short courses in fashion illustration, fashion history (held in the FIT Museum) and a trend forecasting series of lectures at the Fashion Institute of New York

- attending a series of seminars at ‘Parsons New School of Design’

I will be submitting regular posts … so stay tuned for Holly’s NY state of mind …I can’t wait!
